​SaaS Business Development Manager

The Role:

  • You will be the one and only sales rep in the company and take ownership of all sales

  • 100% new business - passing the accounts to a CSM once the first deal is closed

  • They have some existing opportunities and contacts but it's a hands on sales role and you will be required to generate your own leads as well and manage the full sales cycle.

  • They are currently targeting SMEs within the technology space but will be expanding into other industries

  • Once this role is filled and someone has been on board for a couple of months, they will hire a BDR to help with lead generation.

  • Marketing support is available.

  • The role is remotely based. Ideally you are based in or around London but they will consider people outside of London too.

The Company:

  • Early stage UK start-up company with a unique product.

  • The founders are experienced entrepreneurs with a great track record. They know how to build up a company successfully.

  • Huge potential in the current market and big opportunity to scale the business.

  • 12 months ago it would have been a "nice-to-have" product. Now there is a real need for it. It's something that is particularly relevant because of COVID and the fact that the pandemic is changing the way we work.

  • This is an amazing opportunity for someone to take ownership of all the sales in the company and progress to Sales Director.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 5 years SaaS sales experience

  • Hunter, New Business

  • Start-up experience .

What You’ll Get:
