​ Content Marketing Executive

Mission

  • The mission for the Content Marketing Executive is to build a world class content machine; produce and promote content for all stages of the demand generation funnel from the top (Awareness) to the bottom of the funnel (Conversion) and through to ongoing referral (customer success).

  • We’re looking for someone who can show how they’ve built or contributed to B2B inbound content for marketing funnels focused within SaaS. The Content Marketing Executive has a strong focus on quality content creation and distribution including blog posts, eBooks, white papers, etc for a senior audience of technical professionals. Additionally, they need to find creative ways of building an online presence that continues to grow the brand and our thought leadership.

The Role:

  • Writing and distributing engaging, original content in various digital cross-platform channels and formats (blogs, gated content, emails, web copy, case studies, etc.)

  • Managing and executing organic social - creating posts, managing calendars, engaging in social conversations and management of senior leader social accounts

  • Digital journalism and PR campaigns including copy creation, reaching out and managing placements

  • Contributing to the delivery of creative campaign ideas, including research and ideation for new projects

  • Coordinating and briefing freelance copywriters

  • Find creative ways of building an online presence that continues to grow the brand and our thought leadership through engagement of industry professionals and influencers

  • Management, setup and maintenance of marketing assets

  • Sales enablement support - creating collateral for sales team

  • Additional marketing support where needed

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 2+ years experience in content role (ideally in B2B SaaS)

  • Strong knowledge of SaaS metrics, funnel optimization and demand generation via inbound

  • Track record of building and delivering high-impact content that delivers on aggressive growth targets

  • Experience in all phases of content including writing, designing and promotion

  • Expert at project management and prioritization; able to manage multiple projects at varying stages

  • Understanding and interpretation of online metrics and analytics - must be highly analytical

  • Familiarity with A/B testing and running growth experiments

  • Knowledge of Hubspot or similar marketing automation platforms desirable

Skilled Needed:

  • Strong writing, grammar and communication skills

  • Solid understanding of SEO and content techniques

  • Copy - exceptionally good with persuasive sales-led copy

  • Understanding of the sales funnel

  • Makes data driven decisions around content (mines things like Hubspot, Google Analytics etc)

  • Knows what good content looks like and how it impacts the business

  • Has growth-hacking tendencies - comes up with creative solutions to problems

  • Strong focus on learning independently

  • Understands how to drive B2B SaaS sales metrics / KPIs
