VP Sales

The Role:

  • This is a VP Sales role managing all net new revenue for the business

  • The current team is at 7 in total and will need to grow as well as coach and train the existing team as they look to move up market

  • They need someone who is performance driven and can come in with sales methodology and process as they target the Enterprise market

  • Deals will move from the $35k-$40k level to the $100k-$200k+ level so a true Enterprise player is needed

  • You can be based anywhere in the US as they are 100% remote although there is a preference on someone in the Bay Area if possible

  • They have 2 products and this will be focused on continuing the success of their main one as well as growing their newer launch

The Company:

  • Fast growth Startup in the DevOps space

  • They are founder led and cashflow positive since their inception having found and proven the market fit

  • Q3 of 2020 they had their best ever quarter and they weren’t affected by the pandemic

  • 2020 brought them $2.1m in new ARR so they are growing quickly

  • The plan is to grow to $50million or even $100million

  • This person will be key in ensuring that they hit the exponential growth they are capable of and there will be equity involved for the right person

  • They already have over 200 customers and infinite potential

  • This person will also be leading revenue globally including sales, sales development and partnerships so if successful could even lead into a CRO role

  • It is also the Number 1 rated platform in the space on numerous software review sites

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must have 8+ years in sales leadership for a B2B Enterprise SaaS business

  • Need to have successfully grown a business from $5million to $20million twice before

  • You should have overseen an SDR and Partnership programme in a previous role

  • This person should have experience thinking both strategically and tactically as they look to grow in North America, Europe and International

  • Ideally they will be based in the Bay Area but for the right person, you can be remote in the US
