Legal Associate, EMEA

The Role:

  • Legal Associate, responsible for contract reviews, negotiations and closures within data privacy/GDPR

  • This will be the first Legal Associate based in EMEA

  • You will work with 2 other Legal professionals globally

  • You will work closely with partners, customers and vendors

  • You should have a strong understanding of European data privacy, excellent communication skills and a problem solving mindset

  • You will be based in Amsterdam

  • They have received over $40million funding so far and some of their investors have been behind big names like Twitter, BMC, Hootsuite, Facebook, Dropbox, Deliveroo, Slack, and Spotify so you're in good hands.

  • You will get trips to abroad a few times a year including training so the prospect of international travel from time to time should excite you.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelors Law Degree

  • 2-5 years experience in a Legal Associate, Legal Counsel, or General Counsel role for a SaaS business

  • You should be well versed in data privacy regulations and GDPR

  • You should have experience reviewing, negotiating and closing contracts within the SaaS world

  • You will be fluent in English, both written and verbally

  • You should be based in Amsterdam
