Business Development Manager - Translation Services

This is a new business focused role, for a consultative relationship builder who wants to get their hands dirty with service delivery and account management.

The Role:

  • This is a new business-focussed role, where you will also be involved in service delivery and account management. 
  • Managing the entire sales process, including generating your own leads, you will typically be selling to verticals such as heavy industries, engineering, retail, legal. 
  • You will need to be a proactive member of the team and relish a challenging and fast-paced environment. 
  • Negotiating at C Level, the average order values that you will typically deal with range from transactional deals at £1k - £5k, up to larger deals of around £20k-£30k.
  • You will be expected in the office for the majority of the week, with deals often closed over the phone but you will be encouraged to get out and meet high-value clients. 
  • The sales team is small but agile and this client is currently on a hiring drive to grow the sale function - resulting in this role! 
  • To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a minimum of 5 years experience selling services.

The Interview Process:

  • A first stage telephone conversation with the Head of Global Sales. 
  • A 2nd stage with the Head of Global sales and another member of the management team, followed by a meeting with your potential future team.
