VP Sales – Digital Services

​We are hiring a newly created VP Sales role working for a furiously growing technology company your experience with Microsoft digital services will be used to build, scale, and grow new teams and divisions.

Working with an inspiring CEO that is pushing for an IPO in the coming years this is genuinely an incredible opportunity.

As VP of Sales you will be required to manage everything relating to the overall sales process - from developing and implementing an annual Sales Plan to forecasting & planning. You will lead and develop the Go To market Teams (Sales Development, Sales, Account management Sales Ops & potentially Marketing). You will collaborate with the marketing team to drive the right quantity and quality of leads through campaigns, trade shows etc. You'll work with Human Resources to ensure a high-quality talent identification and acquisition process is in place. You'll also work with Finance to ensure competitive compensation plans, that drive both growth and the right behaviours required to deliver consistent success.

Responsibilities:

  • Revenue - Direct responsibility for the sales organization to drive growth and retention.

  • Go to Market Strategy - Execute against the overall sales strategy with the partner, marketing and customer success organizations to maximize revenue.

  • Process, Analytics and Predictability - Assess and improve upon current sales processes, methodologies, team members/structure and associated discipline – particularly with an enterprise focus. Create and execute short and long-term sales plans, including strategies, goals, quotas, tracking mechanisms and analytics. The ultimate goal is to build a highly metric-driven and predictable enterprise revenue stream.

  • Scale - Propose & implement necessary adjustments to optimize performance and build/refine the infrastructure to facilitate ambitious & exciting growth journey.

  • Training and Development - Manage the growing sales team and optimize team structure, hiring, performance assessment, coaching and feedback, team succession planning and best practices training.

Professional Experience Required:

  • Experience as a senior sales leader of a high growth technology company, with deep knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem.

  • An excellent sales management experience working with a compelling and verifiable track record of success..

  • Must be hands on, a player/coach who can personally drive revenue and manage from the field.

  • Demonstrated success creating a strong sales engine and improving sales operations resulting in repeatable and predictable revenue stream for enterprise deals.

  • Track record of increasing productivity of sales teams through skill development, providing inspiration, rapid conflict resolution, and building a highly-empowered culture.

  • Develop and maintain key customer relationships focused on customer outcomes and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer base.

  • Experience working with and expanding a partner ecosystem.

  • Strong problem-solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
