EMEA Sales Director

​A thriving, profitable and growing VC backed AdTech company with offices across Europe & the US is looking to hire an EMEA Sales Director to spearhead and drive their further growth.

 

They've grown to 50 headcount and built an enviable & lucrative client base built on the founders efforts and connections. They are at the seminal tipping point where sales needs to be formalised in to it's own function. The EMEA Sales Director will play a vital part in bringing expertise, knowledge and ability to drive new logo acquisition. This will very much be hands on to start with and you'll need to be razor sharp on your sales process. Most importantly though you'll be given the autonomy to build this in your own image. Reporting to the Managing Director they will arm you with all the support needed but ultimately you will be fully accountable for new business and the growth of the sales function moving forward.

 

Main features of the role:

 -Owning, hitting & exceeding annual sales targets within EMEA by prospecting and closing new accounts.

-Developing and executing a robust plan to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.

-Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships through sustained and regular contact.

-Professional persistence to constantly follow up on prospects.

-Partnering with customers to understand their business needs and objectives to qualify their fit for the product portfolio.

-Effectively communicate the company value proposition through pitches, meetings, proposals and presentations.

-Understand the advertising industry landscapes, players and trends to spot opportunities.

-Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.

 

What should you bring to be successful: 

-Proven executive software sales experience, meeting and exceeding targets.

-Experience selling and understanding a complex software solution.

-Previous experience as a Senior Sales Executive or Sales Manager.

-Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.

-Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.

-Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of technical products and services.

-Proven ability to position products against competitors.

-Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions.

-Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.

-Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
