Global IT sales and digital recruitment company Finlay James, headed up by John and Sara Gaughan, has today announced the opening of their first overseas office in Downtown San Francisco.
Following a record breaking year for the company and growth in global revenues of 17% plus two successful trips to San Francisco in February and September, Finlay James has brought forward the opening of their US office by two months to further serve growing technology companies either based in or with satellite offices in the US.
Finlay James will be based in the super-cool WeWork offices at 650 California Street and as such are ideally placed to support the City and Silicon Valley areas.
With a proven track record of successfully opening new offices, most recently in Moorgate, London; VP of US Operations, Nick Guy, will be spearheading the new venture.
Nick said: “After being with Finlay James for four years, I am incredibly excited to be part of the first overseas office and to expand our presence in the US! It’s a great opportunity for us as we see the US market being a huge part of our future growth plans.”
On the new office opening, John Gaughan, CEO, said: “The quality of the talent pool in San Francisco with some amazing universities in the Bay Area, combined with new direct flights from Manchester made opening our first US office in San Francisco the logical choice.”
This new office represents the next phase in Finlay James’ continued growth, and is the fifth office for the company. Building on the success of these offices, Finlay James plans to continue to expand both nationally and internationally to 80 people by September 2018, with a headcount of 10 in San Francisco.
