IT Sales, UK Country Manager

Salary: £60k - £70k Basic, Up to £120k OTE plus Car Allowance, Pension, Healthcare and other flexible benefi

An excellent sales opportunity has arisen with my client an ambitious and growing provider of Networking, Ethernet and Infrastructure Hardware solutions across a global network of clients. Owing to the their success last year and the recruitment of a couple of new and very proactive partners they are looking for a Country Manager to manage and develop these partners as well as drive the business forward and bring new partners on board in the UK.

The succesful Country Manager will have a proven and demonstrable track record selling the infrastructure hardware solutions around networking and Ethernet solutions through a channel of resellers.

The succesful candidate must have experience of developing and maximising profit potential by selling into Tier One/Two Carriers (Virgin Media, BT, Cable & Wireless, Global Crossing) and will also have experience bringing new partners on board, The role will be a challenge for the right person and will require a home-base in the London area.

The Country Manager will need to be self-sufficient and have the ability and be comfortable with technical issues and growing a business unit. Then right person will need to have sold to Tier one and Tier two Carriers as well as ISPs. Also, of interest would be experience selling, in a direct touch capacity, to Transportation/Utilities vertical.

This is a truly exciting opportunity, the targets on this role will be tough but achievable but this is a real chance for an experienced, senior Channel and networking hardware sales professional to make a real difference to a growing team aiming to grow the UK business from $4m to $20m in 4 years.
