A fantastic and rare sales opportunity has arisen with my client a leading and proven provider of data and information management software solutions across the UK. Due to their success and extensive growth plans to expand into the Government vertical, they are looking to hire a Business Development Manager/New Business Sales Manager that is very comfortable selling IT solutions into the Public Sector or Central Government vertical to cover a wide patch from Home.

To be considered for the role, the successful candidate will have sold complex software into the Public Sector or Central Government vertical. The role will be very much a new business role although you will get the full support of internal sales and marketing teams. Sales skills required by my client include new business, account management, hunger, ambition and determination as well as the ability to present and negotiate at Board level.

IN SUMMARY, YOU MUST BE DEGREE EDUCATED AND HAVE SOLD SOFTWARE INTO THE PUBLIC SECTOR VERTICAL OR YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to come in and really maximise existing business in some potentially very fruitful accounts. In return, you will receive an excellent basic salary and commission package and all the support you will need to deliver on customer expectations.
